BREAKING:
Islamic State claims to have burned alive Jordanian hostage
ISLAMIC STATE (IS) claims to have burned alive a Jordanian pilot in a video released by the terrorist group.
Mu-ath Al Kassasbeh was taken hostage by IS when his plane came down in Syria in December last year.
Sickening images of his apparent murder have been circulated on social media by IS supporters.
One photo shows Mr Al Kassasbeh standing in a cage with a line of oil leading away from him.
Another shows him with his head bowed inside the cage.
He is seen wearing a similar orange jumpsuit to those worn by other IS hostages.
The footage, which has not been verified, is titled "Healing the Believers Chests".
Jordan had been negotiating the release of Mr Al Kassasbeh.
Last week a video of Japanese journalist Kenji Goto was released appearing to show him being murdered by the masked fighter known as Jihadi John.
